Destitute Society Empowerment Organization (DSEO) – "Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives".

Who We Serve

DSEO works with individuals and communities experiencing social, economic, and environmental vulnerabilities. Our programs are designed to ensure that no one is left behind by promoting dignity, equality, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Primary Target Groups

  • Women and Girls
    Women and girls facing gender inequality, limited access to education and economic opportunities, and exposure to gender-based violence, including widows, single mothers, and adolescent girls.
  • Children and Orphans
    Children at risk of neglect, abuse, exploitation, or school dropout, including orphans and those from disadvantaged households lacking access to basic needs and education.
  • Youth 
    Young people facing unemployment, limited access to skills development, and economic opportunities, including school leavers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
    Individuals with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities who face barriers to education, employment, social inclusion, and access to essential services.
  • Elderly Persons
    Older individuals experiencing poverty, neglect, isolation, or limited access to healthcare and social support systems.
  • Extremely Poor and Low-Income Households
    Households living in severe poverty, characterized by unstable or no income, food insecurity, and limited access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and safe housing.
  • Destitute and Homeless Individuals
    Individuals lacking stable shelter and basic necessities, including street dwellers and those in crisis situations requiring urgent support and rehabilitation.
  • Marginalized and Vulnerable Communities
    Communities facing systemic exclusion due to economic, geographic, or social factors, including rural populations, informal urban settlements, and underserved groups.
  • Community-Based Groups and Local Associations
    Organized groups that drive grassroots development, including women and youth groups, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), cooperatives, and community networks.
