The Destitute Society Empowerment Organization (DSEO) is a registered non-governmental organization in the United Republic of Tanzania, established by a group of committed individuals in response to the urgent need to support vulnerable and marginalized communities.
DSEO was officially registered on 15 January 2026 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002, with Registration Number 00NGO/R/8895.
Who We Serve
DSEO works with communities across Tanzania, with a particular focus on vulnerable and underserved populations. These include widows, orphans, children in difficult circumstances, persons with disabilities, the elderly, youth, women and girls, and other individuals facing social and economic challenges.
Our Purpose
DSEO exists to promote human dignity, equality, and empowerment through sustainable community development. We address both immediate needs and long-term structural challenges affecting disadvantaged communities.
